Marnita's Tofu Meatless Meatballs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

 

1 lb. firm Tofu, drained and patted dry                               3 eggs, beaten

1/3 cup flour                                                                          ¾ cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

¼ cup finely minced onion                                                    3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder                                                    ½ teaspoon oregano

1/8 teaspoon pepper                                                             ¾ cup grated cheddar cheese(optional)

2 Tablespoons Marnita's Sweet Chili Sauce

 

In a bowl, crumble tofu.

Add all remaining ingredients. 

Mix thoroughly with a fork.

Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake 15 min. at 350 degrees.  Turn balls over and bake for another 15 min.

 

Once baked, these freeze well.

 

 

 

Use as you would meatballs.......in pasta, subs, appetizers, etc.
